great shot. i like the statue visible through the opening in the branches and the flowers forming the foreground.
John Prior: Thanks Ayush
I like how the grass and flowers seem to reach out to touch the figure - Transcendent.
John Prior: That is a very good word, thank you.

So, so much more interesting to me. The colours are so vibrant in this. A shame to take this aspect away.
John Prior: I suppose so, but b&w is often more mysterious. Thanks Mary smile

The colour version is fine but conveys a different sense to yesterday's John.
John Prior: I'd agree. B&W adds more mystery.
Surprising how different it looks in colour, I still like it and couldn't begin to choose a favourite out of the two.
John Prior: Thanks Brian. Not a bad idea to try both I think.
Even better in colour..nice one John!
John Prior: Very different I think. Thanks Aderonke
With an angelic finger pointing the way...
John Prior: Yes indeed, stronger belief in simpler times. It is a rather fine monument.
I like them both, John, but each has a different mood.
John Prior: Thank you Frank, more mystery with mono I think.
