not very rigid but still doing its job. well balanced exposure here John.
John Prior: It is still hanging on, I don't suppose anyone can afford fencing like this now. Thanks Ayush

Park land fence too: very nice image
John Prior: Once all part of the Abbey parkland until the bypass went through in the sixties.

Bet it would love a bit of snow. Nicely composed, John.
John Prior: And so would I Mary, wonder if we will have any this year.

I hope it manage to keep what ever needs to be out and what ever is meant to be in
John Prior: Seems to keep the sheep out, that often graze the field.
The old knackered fence....
John Prior: Indeed, but it still has charm
Altogether a very nice shot John, and that tree in the filed has a wonderful shape to it.
John Prior: Yes I agree Brian, a splendid tree
Still there John! just hanging by.. A fine capture regardless
John Prior: Yes I wonder how old it is?

I love these fences John. Do you suppose we will ever see them replaced like-for-like?
John Prior: I agree with you, they seem so elegant, from a less paranoid age.
