Towards Cromer

The pier is just visible in the far distance. We walked along this beach a few days earlier on a beautiful day with the tide right out, on Thursday with the high winds the tide seemed to stay in all day.

They have fenced the sea off John, a bit Canute-like!
John Prior: Looks like an attempt to give the soft cliff a little protection, quite a difference in the levels as Jazz discovered when she jumped over a low breakwater to find a ten foot drop on the other side, still no harm done.
