Lovely stuff, the best year for red campions I can ever remember

"I think it pisses God off when you walk by the colour purple in a field and don't notice it"...comes to mind from The Color Purple, John!
John Prior: There is something magical about the thought of purple as well as the colour. Good book and film.

A beautiful explosion of flowers. Lovely image.
John Prior: Thanks Tony
Those purple tones are very compelling.
John Prior: Certainly a great sight, something about natural displays like this that beats any garden.
I know we need to grow food but wild flower pastures like this look so good don't they.
John Prior: Farmers are encouraged to have wild flowers in the set aside margins of fields, seen as good stewardship to help fauna and flora.
