Bolton Abbey|

Bolton Abbey

Set in an extensive estate with great walks. The 12th-century Augustinian Bolton Priory. I like the new look of Flickr. http://www.flickr.com/photos/johnprior-photography/

Love the image with the reflection John. I never imagined that Bolton was like this.

Superb B&W John
Awesome shot...

Image and reflection...

Has a world war II type setting.

A very nice scene to behold, John. I heard there were changes to Flickr. Must check my account.
I always think of the Lindsay Anderson film 'This Sporting Life' when I see b/w images of Bolton Abbey

a wonderful image with the reflection of the abbey - in June I hope to see some abbeys - the most of them are ruins - but ruins can still spread out a special spiritual atmosphere.
I've not been to Bolton Abbey but it looks as good as I've heard it is. Re Flickr there are at least 8 of us in my camera club on Flickr and we all feel totally the opposite to you John, or so it seemed when we discussed it the other evening.
Very nice,John,made by the reflection.
