It must have been a grand place with a good view of advancing enemies John
John Prior: Yes indeed Chris, the land falls away more steeply on the other side of the castle. Great coast here.
What an imposing view of the sea. The ruins give it a certain romance.
John Prior: I prefer ruins to intact buildings, far more interesting once nature starts to reclaim.

Ruins can be even better than the original John. There is something moody and dramatic about them.
John Prior: I prefer ruins also smile
Perhaps the stairs lead to the hanging tower. Excellent viewing spot.
John Prior: Well they certainly could Mary smile
Impressive ruins,and view, John.
John Prior: Thanks Frank
Great view from up there, we never made it to this castle during our visit up that way.
John Prior: It was not such a good day when we walked here. A rescue helicopter was doing a training exercise near the cliff top.
and what a view from this great ruin
John Prior: Even better on a good day I would think smile

It beats the cliched view of this which is normally replicated by everyone that goes near it.
