I didn't know about this place but I recognised the barrier John - a fine composition
John Prior: I was reading about the parabola of Pulteney, Bath, used as the location at the end of the sewer into the Seine in Les Miserables where Inspector Javert (Russell Crowe) leaps to his death. It looks very impressive.

This is superb and imaginative topiary John, I like the dynamic view you show.
John Prior: Thanks Chad
I am not sure what I am looking at here.
John Prior: An old dock Mary in the heart of London's docklands.
I was perplexed until I read Janina's comment. Great capture.
John Prior: Yes, was once a docksmile
I thought I recognised it! A fine shot John smile
John Prior: Thanks Martin
What unusual Topiary, but it fits in with the barrier of course.
John Prior: It is unusual, made to mimic nearby docks. The design of Thames Barrier Park was the winning entry from a team comprising French landscape architects Groupe Signes and UK-based Patel Taylor Architects working with Arup as engineering and environmental consultants.
Those hedges are like waves... fascinating...
