Ploughed field.

Lots of winter crops were not sown in the autumn because of the wet weather, and some that were failed, quite a loss for farmers when you factor in all the costs. Winter crops are also higher yielding than spring crops, so this of course will have a knock on effect with food and feed prices.

Without the colour John, this could be small growth of whatever might have been planted.
Fantastic capture John, the BW accentuates those plough line nicely.
Delightful shot of my favorite subject - fields.
It ain't much fun being a farmer. Good picture though
I like the way the furrows lead to the trees...
One gets the feeling from this that the ground was quite wet when you took this, it looks muddy in texture.
