Using the adaptive wide filter in Photoshop CS6 on the 8mm Samyang NEX fisheye, this filter allows you to straighten curves and adjust the uprights, not perfect here I'd agree, but good on a more conventional wide angle. Samyang certainly produce lenses at moderate cost that capture high levels of detail, albeit without autofocus and with manual apertures.

This is technically very efficient John: thank you very much for the explanation. ISO 1600 - phew!
John Prior: Yes the ISO was a bit over the top really, forgot to reset it smile
I have read a lot of good reports about their lenses and this picture bears them out.
