Changing light II

The River Chess winds its way through the Chilterns. Last week my son Rory spent a week on Alderney, he and a group of his friends hired Fort Clongue from The Landmark Trust, despite the not so good weather I must say he got some amazing shots on the island, it's somewhere I must visit.

John Prior: Thanks a lot Pedro, a shot from the weekend
Wow!What a glorious image. I love the bottom left where you can see the pebbles under the water - and also the sky.
John Prior: A lovely day on Saturday, the heavy rain the day before had left great clarity to the sky and topped up the river.
It's a beautiful area John! Great reflections and autumnal colours smile
John Prior: Thanks Martin, was brought up in Chorley Wood so know the area well. Used to fish from a road bridge as a youngster near here and Chess trout are rather nicesmile Also used to be a free stretch of the Chess in Rickmansworth.
This is a very fine landscape John, almost like a painting and it would certainly make a wonderful jigsaw.
John Prior: Thanks a lot Brian
Lovely reflections caught here - and a beautiful sky!
