You have capture lots of detail
John Prior: Thanks Vintage, the 28-75mm f2.8 Tamron lens is very sharp, excellent value.

It may be fading but it sure is alive and well for the photographers! This is to stare at, John.
John Prior: Yes indeed Ginnie, very romantic really.
It had to be Dungeness! I like the high key look which suits the subject well
John Prior: Yes a place apart Bill

A sad sight John
John Prior: But a sort of romantic continuity between boats and the sea.
Surely not too late for restoration work John, lick of paint etc.
John Prior: All it needs is the will, it is a handsome boat.
Important to have a good retirement spot. Nice, John.
John Prior: Very true Mary smile

I loved Dungeness when I went down there John, and particularly liked this boat, nicely captured!
John Prior: A fascinating place, Hastings is good for boats also.

It's a great area John. You've injected some life into this old boat too - riding the stones smile
Excellent title, John. The boat and its surroundings do have that worn and faded look. Nice pastel colours.
Fading Away Nicely too.
More of Dungeness ... excellent John.
How sad to see it fading away as your title suggests John.
Fading away in such beautifully, crisp, clean light. I actually find this image very uplifting. (:o)

I love the fading colours, esp. the pale blue - abandoned, 'dilapidating' boats like the depicted one evoke a feel of melancholy.
I love this shot- the blue is so subtle, but attractive!
