In the pink

The number of lived in boats on the canal seems to have dramatically increased over the last few years, no doubt a reflection of unaffordable houses as well as dreams of a bohemian lifestyle. This was an empty stretch. Lots of the boat owners have faishoned small gardens in areas of nomans land, some with sheds, a mixture of the tidy and those with rubbish everywhere. One of the owners was inviting offers to a barbecue as I passed by last sunday afternoon.
