High and dry

Fishing boats from Rye and Newhaven beached at Hastings, also hiding on the horizon the bulldozers used to push them back into the water (they were winched up).

I'm sure they are quite secure- but from this angle they feel rather precarious! Beautiful sky!
John Prior: I'd like to see one of these being relaunched. thanks Elizabeth.

What a delightful POV, John. To look up and see that would have made my day!
John Prior: Thank you Ginnie
A fine pair of working boats John
John Prior: Yes indeed Bill, I've always liked working boats, something very appealing about the lifestyle and the mend and make do. Thanks Bill

Is this the first example of boat Friday without water?
John Prior: I'm not sure I could claim that, thanks Chad
A truly wonderful picture John.
John Prior: Thank you Frances
Funny how they manage to balance isn't it.
John Prior: They all have stabilising props and slides built in Brian for this very purpose, and no problem for the modern twin hull versions smile

Looks like a Father and son.
John Prior: Thanks Ken for visit. It's nice to see that there are more modern boats being used here as well as the older and more traditional.
