Dune wind

Last weekend in Wales at Fairbourne after walking along part of the Mawddach estuary trail, an old railway route, one of outdoor girl, Julia Bradbury's televised walks. Strong gusts of wind from the dissapating Katia.

Nice picture. I thought about doing that walk too, especially as I once (a long time ago) actually travelled on it as a railway
John Prior: Thanks Chris. I would have liked that train ride, it's very popular with cyclists and bikes can be hired at Dolgellau.
A fine simple picture John
John Prior: Thanks Bill

Very nice John. This reminds me of lazy days at the coast playing in the dunes.
John Prior: Thanks Chad, I've always loved sand dunes.
This could be here. A few years ago I posted some similar shots taken one windy November day.
John Prior: Thanks Mary, There is something universal about sand dunes.

Lovely movement, you can feel the wind in the dunes of Wales. I hope the weather did not ruin your visit smile
John Prior: Thanks Linda, apart from the windy weekend, the weather was pretty good really, better than a couple of years ago when it felt more like grey November days all the time.
I can hear the roar of the waves on the other side, John. Love the soft pastel look you've captured in this one.
John Prior: Thank you Beverly, the coast is always special.
I saw that programme, this could also be in Norfolk John, there are dunes and grass just the same there.
John Prior: Thanks Brian, I think dunes are much the same, but I always find them evocative.
Looking wild over that way John
John Prior: Some very strong gusts at time, had to try and keep the camera from the wind blown sand.
your photographic eye has made something special of what might have been a mundane scene - great image!
John Prior: Thank you very much Sesan.
I really like this composition... especially with the fence and posts there John.
