Meanwhile back at home a bumper crop of wild flowers, shot on Thursday evening. Back to Italy on Monday and then on to Sicily later, we only missed Etna erupting by a few days, I would have loved some shots of that.

wow. my favorite flower. never thought about them growing in a field.
John Prior: Thanks Sherri, I often see them growing wild, but not usually in this abundance. Although this field has been good before as it seems to be undisturbed.
