Belle Tout Lighthouse

Built in 1832. In 1999 all 850 tons of the lighthouse were moved back 17 metres from the cliff edge by hydraulic jacks onto new foundations. It is now run as a hotel.

The clarity is very alluring in this photo. I like the sharp lines too. So nice!

I remember reading about this and I also think this lighthouse was used for a controversial drama series on TV a long time ago, it's name slips my mind.
