The road through Ashridge

The entrance to the visitor centre is just round the corner. Ashridge, one of the homes of the canal building 3rd Duke of Bridgewater (Lord Francis Egerton 1736-1803). An estate of 6000 acres (24 sq km) now managed by the National Trust. The large country house has for the last fifty years been home to the Ashridge Business School.
