The old mill

Another film shot from the 70's, Blennerville, Co. Kerry, Ireland. A pig farm then and now fully restored, sails and all. They did take Kodachrome away, despite Paul Simon's plea.

really lovely, film fitted this subject perfectly.
John Prior: Thank you Leanne, it was about the best colour choice then, Velvia had not come on the scene.

This is landscape (& meteorologist's) dream John. The lighting is lovely but just look at those clouds shrouding the mountain!
John Prior: Thanks Chris, It was very beautiful then, but since the prosperity of joining the EU, anyone who had a bit of land seems to have built on it.
Lovely composition John. I note the importance of the reflection.
John Prior: Thanks Chad, on reflection always an added bonus smile
I used the old Kodachrome 64 for years and years but I must admit I love the digital.
John Prior: Thanks Mary, so do I, but just occasionally film added magic. I also think it made one more selective and careful also.
So wonderful with this light and reflection!
John Prior: Thanks Richard, mornings and evenings are always the best.

A fine shot John. Kodachrome was wonderful film but very expensive
John Prior: Thanks Bill, I still have some Kodachrome in the freezer and no way of processing it now :-(
