Tralee Bay|

Tralee Bay

From Blennerville, near Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland. This transparency shot taken circa 1970, after a walk down by the old disused canal that once joined Tralee with the bay. The whole area was very wild then, before restoration of the mill and railway at Blennerville and also the canal.

It must have been quite an experience standing there taking it all in. Impressive photograph and wow on the age of it.
John Prior: Thank you Sherri.

This is quite intriguing with those rolling mountains looming out John
John Prior: Lovely then Chris, 'Ryan's Daughter' had been filmed just a few years earlier on the Dingle peninsula.
This has scanned into a lovely soft and slightly grainy image John. I really like the result
John Prior: Thanks Bill, film still imparts a different feel to images.

where we find and lose our wishes...
John Prior: Grapf thanks, yes magic in the air.
A fabulous image John. You did a great scan job here!
John Prior: Thanks Richard.
Lovely picture, good scan, I wish my scanner would work as good as your one John.
John Prior: Thanks Brian, for 35 mm film I use an old Canon FS4000US film scanner, at the time much cheaper than the Nikon equivalent. It's the only reason I hang on to my old G4 PowerMac now for the SCSI-2 interface, although the scanner also has a slower USB one as well.
