I could tell as I scanned this image it held a lot of history, but I was expecting 1120. I can't even image.

A remarkable shot of this well preserved place.
It's hard for me to imagine what life must have been like when this was built so long ago. Fine image.
John Prior: It was a royal residence for several centuries, so fabulous by the standards of the time.
I love all the layers (not Photoshop!) in this picture, As you look deeper, then deeper, there still more to see.

Aww, I really find it difficult to shoot images like these. For one, closed off areas are particularily difficult because I never mastered fences or the like. And two, I often think that fences or bars or tapes are a whee bit disturbing. To have skill and patience to work with what the circumstances offer you and produce results like this, that is truly amazing!
