An intriguing image John: have you altered it somewhat?
John Prior: Not really, the angle of the shot lost the roof and side of the house, and the 14mm lens added its own exaggeration to the depth. Also a slightly modified infrared processing option in Photoshops black and white convertor helped add to the feeling of changed reality.

John Prior: Thanks Zed, a slightly modified infrared processing option in Photoshops black and white convertor.
I thought this had a touch on infra-red john, it works very well with this image and what you are conveying to us.
John Prior: Thank you Brian.

Whoa, what an impressive image. I too thought perhaps you'd resized in disproportionately. It's gorgeous. If I'd taken it, I'd frame itsmile

Have enjoyed catching up with your output after several months John.
This one caught my eye particularly as it just cried out "14mm" when I looked at it, plus it's an emotive image to which the post-processing is ideally suited; very effective.
John Prior: Hi Roy, thanks for comment and visit.

Love it - real sense of abandonment and nature taking over again.
