This is like sitting in front of a cinema screen, marvellous width and colours. Perfect shot.
John Prior: Thank you Michael
How on earth does one ever remember where it was parked?
John Prior: Thanks Sheila, judging by the state of some of the bikes, I don't think everyone does smile

It's sort of gone back to the pre war image of Oxford here John: all bikes & no traffic. And that is good!
John Prior: Thanks Chris, the pedestrianised bits look better without cars, but the way some bikes are ridden still poses a threat to the unwary.
lot of bicycles on our roads in France, too!
John Prior: Thanks jojo, a good idea I think, but you have to be careful they don't sneak up on you.

Pedal power in oxford.Wonderful wide image
John Prior: Thank you Vintage.
Like the wide angles perspective John. I knew Cambridge is full of bikes, I hail from near there, but didn't realise Oxford is the same.
John Prior: Thanks Brian, not as many as Cambridge, I remember some close misses theresmile
Your lens and you do a good job John. A great view of Broad Street
John Prior: Thank you, Oxford was very busy on Saturday, at times it felt more like Oxford Street.

A fine street scene with more bikes than I've ever seen in one place. smile Fine depth of field in this view. Very well done, John.
John Prior: Thank you Don.

Heh! Have you ever photographed bikes in front of any Dutch train station? I like this one a great deal.
John Prior: Thank you BK. No, but Holland is famous for bikes and no hills smile
