Hastings lobster and crab boat, beached beyond high tide. These are winched out of the water and refloated by one of the selection of big rusting bulldozers, that have been modified for pushing them back in.

Now would love to see an action shot of it being pushed back, a fine detailed shot.
John Prior: Yes so would I, but I don't think people are very welcome when the winches and machines are in use, seen as a liability. Nobody was working here, no doubt thanks to the world cup - so it is useful for something smile Thanks for comment Les

Good to know they haven't been abandoned there. That was my first thought. I love the yellow here. (my favorite color)
John Prior: Thank you Sherri.

Very prominent position of the subject in the frame! You cannot look away! And I agree with sherri - the yellow is superb!
John Prior: Thank you bk.

I like this crisp image of a working crab boat. That is a surprising way to beach these huge boats, but one that saves building docks and expensive tie-up facilities.
John Prior: Yes you're right, and I suppose it has benefits from a maintenance aspect also. Thank Don
Great angle and composition. Lots of detail, I especially like the ladder smile
John Prior: Thanks Linda, I liked the ladder although it did not look long enough.
Another shot I wish I had taken John, great angle.
John Prior: Thank you Brian, have a great weekend.

Impressive detail and composition. 'RX60' sounds like some sort of high tech machinery!......its a crab boat with a mean name lol.
John Prior: Many thanks for visit
