What a neat castle to locate and shoot. I fine the combination of rock and brick plus the fascinating design make one fine picture!
Fancy sitting in there before it fell in to disrepair, I bet it has a viewsmile
I love the castle and its surroundings; love the light and that blue sky as well

Thats just 4 miles from me. I've been past it a few times but always been with someone so didn't stop. It was built to house Sir John's fossil collection, which are actually built into the walls. I really need to go there one day.
So far this is the only photo I've seen of it not covered in scaffolding.
