Stonehenge, prehistoric stone circle on Salisbury Plain, Whiltshire, England. This was shot in the early seventies, before the fences and the crowds. Kodak TriX derated to 320ASA.

An impressive site; alas despite not living all that far away, I've never visited. I'm glad, though, they you did and has shown the monument at its best. Superb textures and tones in this.

I like how well you created your own personal view of stonehenge. The dark clouds and heavy shadowed stones create a mysterious feeling that I like. Nice shot from the past.
Shot back in the seventies, excellent photo. Use to shoot a lot of B&W back in those days. Lovely contrasts and tones, really a fascinating image.
