It still has considerable majesty about it John
John Prior: And so does the extensive estate, lovely landscapes, thanks Chris
Fabulous shot! I would love to fill this window.
John Prior: A lovely landscape beyond, thanks Mary
A fine ruin John. Imagine what it must have been like in its' prime
John Prior: Certainly a prime location also, beautiful estate and landscapes.
WE are in the dales next week and may well visit this place although Fountains Abbey is top of the list. A fine shot John.
John Prior: Well worth a visit for the grounds and extensive estate on a nice day, lovely landscape and river walks, the monks certainly knew how to pick prime locations.
