I love the texture of the cascading water in this one. Perfect control of shutter.
John Prior: Thanks a lot Travis
John this is one of my favorites!! I like it in B&W, and I like the angle you chose so the land can be seen under some of the arches. This looks like an amazing place to be - I can hear the water rushing!!!
John Prior: It felt quite dangerous getting this close on the wet rock, but love these structures, the Victorians new how to add a kind of gothic grandeur. Thanks Elizabeth.
Whoa look at that! What a beautiful place, I'd love to go over there and see it for real grin Stunning shot, I love how you've captured the water. x
John Prior: It is a dramatic place, almost a mini Lake District. Thanks for visit Laura
Ohh... this is a great shot to view.
John Prior: Thank you Jacquelyn
Cracking Shot John. All that water heading for Birminghamgrin
John Prior: Yes indeed, I wonder how full the reservoirs are now, thanks Bill

The Victorians thought nothing of building these things John. A powerful shot
John Prior: Thanks Chris, yes the Victorians knew how to add gothic grandeur.
You have captured the grandeur and force of this dam John. Bravo.

Stunning John, love the contrast and textures - there's even a watchful eye in the cloudscape!
John Prior: Yes indeed, I thought I was being watched smile
Great composition & rendition John, you've made it look much more dramatic than I recall - stayed at hotel down the road about 3 years ago!
John Prior: Thanks Fred, I always take the detour through here from the A44 when going to Aberystwyth.
We've stayed at the George Borrow Hotel in the past.
Very, very cool shot! Cheers, Dave.
John Prior: Thanks a lot Dave
We've exchanged comments before on your pictures from Elan John, this is very good indeed, what a difference it makes to show it in mono.
John Prior: Thanks Brian
excellent wide angle view of this place in b/w
I love the framing and the use of black and white in this image. The bricks, water and clouds give the image wonderful texture.
