Faded Glory. At one time towards the end of 400 years ownership, times got so hard that lead was sold from the roof. The National Trust spent £3 million preserving and repairing the fabric of the building and making it water tight again.

I bet that tapestry was once rich with colours
We've seen tapestry's in other NT properties, sadly most of them are quite well faded by now, but they must have looked very impressive when new.
Love the overall colour, John.
if I was drunk, I would have a hard time finding the bed ... it looks camouflaged ...
