Danger

Yesterday. There are not many places on the south coast where countryside still meets coast, Climping is one such place, first visited in the fifties with my parents and we in turn took our children there for day trips, between Bognor and Littlehampton. A walk down the west beach brings you to the River Arun and boatyards with Littlehampton, now looking a lot smarter on the far bank.

The sea wall looks as if it has taken a bit of a battering John and might not be able to withstand much more.
John Prior: They were busy shifting shingle from where the storms had repositioned it.

What a good picture out of almost nothing at all. I guess some H.& S.people will have painted that word on there.

Not an area I really know, although I have had the pleasure of staying in Bognor in the winter and waking up to snow.
