An altogether fascinating image John. The fine tufts of grass but then that telegraph wire which makes me want to follow it to see where it goes. The bird has the advantage of me.
John Prior: The power line goes to the Caister Lifeboat station.

You don't need me to say this, but the bird really makes this composition stand out. Without it the picture would be greatly diminished
John Prior: Thanks Chris

Great shot John and indeed the bird finishes it off.
John Prior: Thank you Brian
Like a bird on the wire,
Like a drunk in a midnight choir
I have tried in my way to be free.
Like a worm on a hook,
Like a knight from some old fashioned book
I have saved all my ribbons for thee.
If I, if I have been unkind,
I hope that you can just let it go by.
If I, if I have been untrue
I hope you know it was never to you.
John Prior: One of my favs from Mr Cohen smile
