Brilliant shot John! I love this angle and really feel the atmosphere of this capture. I can just imagine a Monk walking though here.
John Prior: Holy Island is where Christianity first settled on these shores, so a mystical place.
This is so cool! I feel like the walls are folding in to give me a hug!
John Prior: Embracing like smile

A sense of closing in, but also a sense of movement in this still image John. Very good image of this ruin, and I especially love that delicate arch amid the sturdy walls.
John Prior: Thanks Chad
Used to good effect John and it makes an excellent b&w
John Prior: Thank you Bill

John Prior: Thank you Mary
My word can't you get a lot in with this lens.
John Prior: Nice to use this lens, manual but depth of field is so great that setting focus at about 10 feet puts everything in focus at f8
great way to show off the staggering proportions of this place. effects are very well received
