Rickmansworth

I remember fishing from this bridge one Boxing day in the rain when I was about 12 with my new Allcocks 'Lucky strike' split cane rod. It cost £5.00 then. A good one now fetches around £225.00, I should have kept it but I lost interest in angling.

Stunning landscape John! I love the angle, light and shadows on the bridge. The sky steals the show smile

I never knew Rickmansworth looked like this but I rather suspected angling wasn't my cup o' tea either..
That is quite the place to have built a house. I would love a walk here.
This part of Rickmansworth look very pleasant John.

The red houseboat makes the picture...
I tried fishing once and once was enough. Nice spring sunshine and a lovely sky John
The photo is full of places to linger on. ... Maybe the fish don't miss you at all. : )
