Missenden Abbey

The grounds and parkland once again have water running through. The Abbey is now owned by Buckinghamshire New University and run as an education and conference centre.

This is lovely. Do the cows use the bridge you think?
John Prior: No Elizabeth it is a gated pathway smile

This is simply charming John: there is just so much depth & space in this picture. Good enough to frame & put on the wall
John Prior: Thanks Chris, think I might continue in b&w mode for a while

Love the details in this. Perfectly composed and balanced. From the clouds in the skies to the curious cows on the right, this is a fascinating image to allow the eye to explore!
John Prior: Thank you Tony
I am really enjoying your b&w series John
John Prior: Thanks Bill, so am I, I think I will continue for a while longer.
The delightful little bridge was certainly needed that day John.
John Prior: Yes the river is still a shadow of its former self, thanks Brian

He he, is this bridge part of the Japanese garden John?
John Prior: I'm sure the Japanese would be happy to adopt it smile
What a lovely looking bridge. Funny how it's fenced off from the cows.
John Prior: I don't think the cows are bridge trained, they might ruin the non-slip surface smile
A beautiful setting, John and a smashing shot! smile
John Prior: Thanks a lot Martin
