Chorleywood Common I

The family home was in Chorleywood, so I remember much time spent on the common, I also had a paper round that included the big houses facing the common, I never received a Christmas tip, but the kids doing the council estate were usually quids in. A shot from Saturday.

A lovely mellow picture John. Your words about tips makes interesting reading...
John Prior: Yes indeed, It was not a good round on a wet day either, all the long drives, papers often got wet so perhaps that is why smile

I would be spending time here as a kid, that's for sure. A very fine image.
John Prior: We used to have great fun on our bikes on the common, along with searching for baby frogs by the ponds, those were the days. Thanks Mary
What a lovely landscape there John. We had lovely light like this on Saturday but sadly I didn't have chance to get out with the camera.
John Prior: Good light over the weekend, tomorrow sounds as if it will be good also. Thanks Brian
