Our Mutual Friend

The last novel completed by Charles Dickens and very much about the river, both physically and metaphorically.

I like how the water is all churned up from the boat!
Very nice composition John...i like the skyline with the feather clouds in front of what may be storm clouds in the distance... and the thing that i like the most... is to watch the wake behind the boat....petersmile

This is a glorious composition John: I aught to re-read that book again
A lot cleaner friend these days than in Dickens' time!
The colour of the river looks like stale tea John.
Well titled John and a fine composition with rich colours!
I like the wide aspect of this shot, and the line of the wake is a very strong lead in.
Is this London and the Thames? Wonderfully composed and attractive shot.
Great colour in this fine image, John - beautiful!

love the wake of the boat. reminds me of water skiing. very difficult on a river.
Great point of view, which gives dynamism to this cityscape.
Have a nice day.
