An arable landscape

We will soon be over run with this in the fields around here John but it does make for a colourful subject when the sun shines.
John Prior: I love the vibrance of this stuff, also blue linseed, although not as common. Thanks Les
I wonder if this cold snap will knock it back
John Prior: Knocks me back Bill smile

I know it's an unnatural hue but I always think these chrome yellow patches on the land are charming John
John Prior: I agree, nice to see fields of blue linseed/flax also.
We grow winter grains too but not canola that I know of. Here it is sowed in spring. Nice shot.
John Prior: I do quite a lot of freelance work for Bayer Cropscience on seed treatment, so always keep an eye on the arable fields, thanks Mary.

What a fine day this was - beautiful colour!
John Prior: Thanks a lot Martin
A very fine image to remind us of what we had over the past few days....and the fact that Spring seems to be un-Springing itself. (:o)
John Prior: Indeed, a bit of a bummer for the easter weekend.
simply beautiful !!!
Great composition again John, that seems to be a speciality of your photography.
I do agree about the linseed, John.
