Such bright colors in your day! So glad you captured that lovely sky and the yellow blossoms below before the rain rolled in!

It's another of the year's rituals isn't it John: when fields become bright yellow and hay fever sufferers start sniffing..
I haven't noticed any around here yet. It makes a spectacular display in full bllom
I can't believe how early this is happening. Here it blooms in july after being planted in spring.
John Prior: This was sown in autumn for the following year, farmers have the choice of using a winter or spring growing cycle, winter wheat is very popular as the plants survive winter but get off to strong start as things start to get warmer and are ready for harvest quicker. Thanks Mary
My word it is early down your way John, I have yet to get a really good Oilseed Rape image after all these years, I will try harder this Spring.

Wow, I didn't realise the yellow had started blooming! It's a beautiful shot, the cloudscape is fantastic!
Wonderfully uplifting image. Those true spring colours, the trees fat with buds. Super! (:o)
I've noticed it round our way over the last week, John. Seems very early.
