Hi John! Really interesting shot here with the crucifix in the foreground with the shadows playing across across it gives it added meaning )
John Prior: Thanks Frances, certainly an interesting church.

the shadows like that are fantastic
John Prior: Thanks Sherri, it was a lovely afternoon.
Great shot here, John - well seen!
John Prior: Thanks Elizabeth
To pray for forgiveness?

good picture John
John Prior: Indeed, Mrs Thatcher spent a lot of time here during the Falklands. Tony Blair however followed his wife and children to their RC church at Great Missenden, Catholics are perhaps better at forgiveness when the need is greater smile

Very fine John: you've got some super dappled lighting there too

Hopefully the crucifix whets the appetite for what is to follow, John. Wonderful POV, indeed.
John Prior: Thanks Ginnie, yes that is what I thought.

I like the idea and viewpoint here John, just wish the cross was in the clear blue sky more.
John Prior: Thanks Chad
Love the shadows in the foreground and it's all looking splendid against that wonderful sky.
John Prior: Thanks Janet, great weather and light over the weekend
This cross couldn't have been placed in a much better position to allow for a composition like this John, well done.
John Prior: Thanks Brian

Thats not far from me, yet I've never been to it. I did end up at Chequers by accident though.
John Prior: Thanks Debb, many years ago, we saw Mrs Thatcher with her security man while walking across the driveway at Chequers and later that day she passed in her ministry car and waved to us with great enthusiasm.
This church is really beautiful! Great composition with the Christ in the first!
Nice!
Have a nice day.
