London Eye

Last shot from the boat, as we left it at Westminster pier. Here is a link to a shot I did some years ago from the very top of the London Eye, the view is best later in the year, when evenings are drawing in and London is illuminated. London eye view at dusk

Such a composition of shapes and great clarity too. I never did make it here while I was there.
John Prior: Thanks T, it is a good experience.
very well done. i have a similar shot at the same approximate time of the day with a slightly different angle.
John Prior: Thanks Ayush, I remember your shot, the late afternoon skies over the south bank are usually best.
A terrific structure- interesting to see it at different angles on different SC sights!
John Prior: It is very much photographed smile Thanks Elizabeth.

Something I have thought of doing but have not as yet.
John Prior: Worth a spin, best on a late september evening when everything historic is lit, touches of a son et luminaire from the sky.
Excellent shot of this popular attraction John
John Prior: Thanks Bill

It's a magnificent bicycle wheel when you see it like that, John. Who could mistake it!
John Prior: Thanks Ginnie, I did imagine Godzilla using it as a hoop if he ever visited London for a change smile

I always like seeing the wheel, but have never been on it. It looks brilliant on New Years Eve smile
John Prior: Must be tempting to turn it into a giant catherine wheel smile
Great shot of the eye John. Your other one at dusk is beautiful too.
John Prior: Thanks a lot Janet
I like this view John, makes a change to the usual "bit of" ones we see so often.
John Prior: Thanks Brian
