Great landscape John! I like the point of view!
John Prior: Thanks a lot Elizabeth
climb in the rocks...
John Prior: Thanks Chantal, I did indeed smile
I like your rocky landscape.
John Prior: Many thanks Mary
Excellent POV John, and a pleasant sky.
John Prior: Thank you Brian
A fine example of the megacrystic granite that is so resistant to natural weathering. Unlike the granite at the base which is made up of finer granites and is poor in its amount of megacrystics thus has weathered more rapidly.

enjoy {grin}
John Prior: Thanks Richard, yes part of the Variscan complex, primarily on the high tors of Dartmoot smile
Nice view (and perspective)! Is this where the horses were in a previous photo?
John Prior: Yes the same place, the wild horses/ponies roam free along with the cattle and sheep
great landscape, conveys the rugged quality so well
John Prior: Thanks a lot Ayush
Impressive rock; love the colors, with the deep grey of the rock with blue and green around. Nicely seen, and done!
Have a nice day.
