This is a most interesting composition John....i could look at it for an hour ....come back and still see things that i had missed.....you have captured so many different textures and colours....it would not be the same without the framing of the hydro lines....i like it...a lot....petersmile
Some of these boats look a little neglected, John. Even the mailboxes look as though they haven't been visited in a while. But here we are bringing them to life and giving them a look thanks to you!
Quite a few things happening in this image. That awkward mailbox looks a bit comical in these settings. Lovely treatment of the clouds

Ypu've made it look like the back of beyond John but I'm sure that isn't really the case
John Prior: Thanks Chris, I try to stay divorced from reality as much as possible smile

Mersea down to a 'T' John.
A typical set of boat moorings John,so much to photograph with plenty of character.

This looks a bit messy John but...hey man, whatever.
John Prior: I've always thought that with this sort of thing messy was good smile
Interesting place! Neat to look at all the details in this photo. The photo actually raises lots of questions for me, like who lives here, why do they live here, what do they do for a living...you get the idea!
