Never been here John: it looks interesting though. This presumably is sea?
John Prior: My first visit, trying to go to new places on the coast and I haven't really explored the east coast very well. The island is formed by two river estuaries, the crossing road is covered at high tide which adds to the fun.

I've been visiting Mersea, off and on, since the early 1980s. Amazing place, look forward to seeing what you found there John.
John Prior: Thanks Roy, yes I remember you posting shots from Mersea, thanks for visit.
Looks like we both found a nice sky for the weekend. Very nice composition.
John Prior: Thanks Mary, yes indeed.
I don't know this area at all but your picture makes it very appealing John. strong foreground and a nice sky
John Prior: Thanks a lot Bill
A fine shot John. I haven't been to Mersea for so many years I've even forgotten when it was.
John Prior: Thanks Brian, my first visit.

Very nicely composed, This is somewhere I have not seen, time to get the map book out smile
John Prior: My first visit, I'm trying to explore more of the east coast as I've neglected it in the past.
Nice one! I'm not familiar with this area, but that's whats great about visiting other people's sites, you learn new things!
John Prior: Yes, that's very true and also shows areas, sometimes quite close, that one has not visited.
