Gee! That's a really cool shot, John.
John Prior: Thanks Mary smile

This is fantastic John....the entire scene is so distinct and the boat looks like they have had a lot of linen to change that day....petersmile
John Prior: Thanks Peter, I tried to be out and about as early as posible, It was good to see working Venice and most of the tourists were still in bed smile

I never expect to see anyone rushing around in a scene like this. An intriguing surprise.
John Prior: Thanks Sherri, not really rushing, just a slow shutter speed smile

Very good John: that boat is fairly whizzing by with the laundry!
John Prior: Thanks Chris. Just the slow shutter speed really, I'm not sure the laid back Venetians do wizzing smile

You must have been up early John.
John Prior: Thanks Chad, yes out before too many other tourists woke up, good to see Venice without crowds.
love the treatment here and a very interesting composition, specially the wrought iron chairs and the tables
John Prior: Thank you Ayush smile
And there was I thinking that Venice was always warm, romantic and sexy. HA HA smile
John Prior: Thanks Shelia, we got a mixed bag of weather in Spring 2008, but it is always romantic even in the snow smile
Lifehas to go on just as anywhere else I guess John.
John Prior: Thanks Brian, I like to see things working, not just the tourist bits smile
This is so original, John. Love everything about it. Great catch!
John Prior: Thanks a lot Beverly smile
Was it a Monday? ... fine image John
John Prior: Thanks Richard, now that's a bit of a test, I don't think so smile
The speedy caffeine fueled laundry service. Nice capture John
John Prior: Thanks Janet, not that speedy, just the slow shutter speed. A Coffee could set you back as much as 10 euros smile
They must have an awful amount of work to get through at this speed, good capture smile
John Prior: Thanks Linda, I hope I have not misrepresented the speed of the Venetian laundry service smile
Love the motion of the boat John..It really adds to the picture..Well done.
John Prior: Thanks Ron, I wish it was not such a bind to take a tripod on holiday, slow shutter speeds often enhance scenes especilly with people moving through the view.

John Prior: Thanks Otto, I hope I have not misrepresented the speed of the Venetian laundry service smile
