Looks like a beautiful place to walk. I still recall the scent of wet leaves.
John Prior: Thanks Sherri, yes there is something very magic about autumn woods.
Well spotted angle of view John lovely colour. Is the A900 a Sony camera John? It captures amazing images.
John Prior: Yes, thank you. I love this camera, full of Minolta DNA, not trying to be a movie camera, fantastic viewfinder and huge full frame resolution smile

This reminds me of our woods in Atlanta, John, before I moved to The Netherlands. It brings back happy memories, playing there with my grandson.
John Prior: Thank you Ginnie, I think woods are my favourite places.
Love the angle on this low branch. It looks like a river of golden leaves flowing towards the viewer. (:o)
John Prior: Thank you Rosalyn.
Haven't been to Burnham Beeches since I lived in Slough some 40 years ago!
John Prior: Thanks Bill, I'm glad the Corporation of London have preserved this ancient place in all the urban sprawl.

Leaces through leaves: I like that Tom
John Prior: Thanks Chris, who is this Tom bloke smile
Excellent POV. The perspective is superb!
John Prior: Thanks a lot Richard
There is plenty of movement in this fine view.
John Prior: Thank you Sir.
This low branch is amazing. It looks like the leaves are rising off the forest floor. Really unique shot.
John Prior: Thank you Mary.
That low angle really gives the fore and mid ground a great aspect John.
John Prior: Thanks Brian smile
The angle you choosed is wondeful; the leaves seem to be in levitation here! Well done.
have a nice day.
John Prior: Thank you Dom.
Brilliant lead in to the picture.
John Prior: Thanks Graeme
Love the way you've focused on the low leafy branch and have made it look as if the leaves are floating
Duh! My earlier comment seems a bit dim really, because of course the leaves are 'floating' whilst they're joined onto the tree! Hope you know what I meant.
John Prior: Thanks Ellie, yes indeed.

very cool wide angle, almost disorienting.
John Prior: Thanks Otto, yes I like the way wide angles play with the perception of space.
A900 + I thought it was a Sony. I tend to use Sony for 90% on my images. They do take beautiful images.
John Prior: Hi, again. Sony also supply Nikon with sensors. Nikon have the internal processing knowledge to obtain even better results from them in terms of noise smile
Lovely Autumn shot John, great angle.
